The fire forced the evacuation of about 950 hotel employees and 5,000 guests from the 3,000-room hotel and casino. At least 13 people were treated for smoke inhalation on Friday however no major injuries reported.

February 10, 2008 - My highscore of the minigame Jump Attack at the Casino in Paper Mario for Nintendo 64. This is a challenge which requires just luck. For everyone who doesn't know the game, here the rules (quotation from the game): "When the game starts, 11 blocks will appear in the air. When you hit a block, a panel will come out of it. There are 4 kinds of panels. The coins you get will be determined by the order you hit the panels in: 1-Coin Panels (4x), 5-Coins Panels (3x), 5-Times Panels (2x) and Bowser Panels (Game Over, 2x) If you clear the 9-Blocks-Option, your coins will be doubled as a special bonus." The maximum score is 950 (19*5*5*2), but it's quite difficult. The probability to get it is only about 0.0005% (1/1,980). The probability just to clear the 9-Blocks-Option is about 1.8% (1/55). Maybe I'll try to beat my score again another time. Note: Sorry for the fairly low quality, but that's caused by the high contrast between the dark background and the white text boxes.
